Lovely cottage, and whilst centrally located, its really quiet. The deli, bakery, chip chop and a pub are all just a couple of mins walk away - as is the water front. Our second stay in Appledore (August and December) and weve never had problems parking fairly near our holiday cottage. The cottage is cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Rear courtyard is very small but we there in the middle of winter and so would not have used anyway! All in all, a great find. Hide

A charming and well presented cottage in a lovely location and the people in the little street were really friendly. We loved the wall paper in the upstairs loo! It is easy to organise parking on a weekly basis in a local carpark and then walk to the property from there. We love Appledore and it is great to be in such a central location.

This was a clean, well presented and comfortable holiday cottage. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints. However, the cottage is a long way from available parking and at the end of a narrow and steepish alleyway. Everything must be carried by hand from the car to the cottage. OK for fit and abled bodied people, but not ideal for those with Read moreany fitness or mobility issues. Courtyard is very small too, we personally would have liked something larger that got a little more sunshine. We ended up using Appledore as a base to travel elsewhere. Hide

This is a fantastic cottage. The location is brilliant - only a short walk to the pub and tapas restaurant! and the great thing is that it is very quiet at night. The cottage is very clean and comfortable with every thing you will need. We were a couple and a dog so it was the perfect size - though you could comfortably get 3 people in. We didn't hRead moreave to contact the hosts while we were there, but they left us contact details and a lovely welcome pack which was very nice. Parking is a little tricky, though we managed to get a space on the street every day for free- however here are two payable car parks a short walk away, -there is no parking outside the property. The village is great and the people very friendly. It is the perfect base if you wish to go further afield - though there are plenty of lovely walks nearby. Overall we couldn't find any faults at all and loved our stay. We will definitely be back! Hide
