Appledore makes a great base for exploring the coastline of the North Devon National Landscape with your canine pal. There are a couple of dog-friendly beaches within a mile: Sandymere in Northam Burrows Country Park and across the River Torridge at Instow. Your pet can also join you at Tapeley Park Gardens, Marwood Hill Gardens and the village of Clovelly, all within 15 miles.
