Stairs lead up and directly into the spacious open-plan lounge/bedroom with light streaming in through the skylights. The delightful lounge area features a Smart TV, comfortable seating and a Juliet balcony offering views over towards the nature reserve. Kirby le Soken is a charming village which lies within 2 miles of both the friendly coastal town of Frinton-on-Sea and the bustling seaside resort of Walton-on-the-Naze, each with a beautiful pet-welcoming beach, with some seasonal restrictions. A couple of miles to the north, the stunning Hamford Water National Nature Reserve is a wonderful spot for dog walking and birdwatching.

Field House Lodge sits in a private location and has excellent layout, is very well equipped with fantastic views and walks. The Field House lodge is very well maintained and in a beautiful location with great views over the fields. Wonderful and peaceful location with great views over the fields to the Walton Backwaters. The Lodge is very spacious for two people, but be warned you might just spend too much time sitting in the lounge looking at the view and wildlife. There was even a welcome basket of treats and toys for the dog who enjoyed the walks that were right on the dooRead morer step. The hosts were always on hand ensuring that we wanted for nothing and the welcome pack a great surprise. We would most definitely stay again and recommend to all. Hide

Field House Lodge is well maintained and is in an excellent location for exploring North Essex and into Suffolk. This was a very relaxing holiday and well suited to dog owners. We had a lovely week there.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Field House Lodge. Martin and Bev were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating from start to finish they really made us feel at home. We came here to completely de-stress and chill in a different environment, and it was exactly what we needed. The surroundings are beautiful, with lovely walRead moreks, and the air was so fresh and clean such a nice change from everyday life and pollution. The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the music sound system provided, which was a really nice touch and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We were also very chuffed with the welcome pack waiting for us in the fridge such a thoughtful gesture. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we honestly couldnt fault a thing. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was just right throughout our stay. They were especially helpful with suggested walks for our dog. We couldnt have asked for more. This is a lovely , well equipped accommodation. It is extremely dog friendly, an enclosed garden, good walks from the front door and nobles, bowls and covers for the dog. It is well situated for visiting the local tourist spots and for walks along the local beaches.

Field House Lodge was easily the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. There was a very generous welcome pack for both us and our dog and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location with great views and good footpaths for dog walks. The cottage is a beautifully presented well appointed comfortable home from home. The finest holiday property in which we have stayed. The layout is perfect. It is spacious, comfortable and light with lovely furnishings. We had one day of poor weather and it was genuinely a pleasure to spend some time indoors.

We stayed in the lodge last week and it really was the most special cottage we have ever stayed in. By far the cleanest, and we have stayed in countless cottages over the years. Every possible thing we could have needed was provided for us and our dog. Lovely scenic walks from the doorstep. Perfect for relaxing and exploring and enjoying nature. A beautiful cottage with everything you need and more. Amazing location with views to die for. Excellent dog walks on your doorstep. Owners lovely. Central location to all the costal resorts. We had a wonderful stay at field house lodge, It is very well maintained and equipped. Beverley and Martin were on hand if you needed anything, we had my son and family over for a day and we christened the new barbecue. Good time had by all.The views are amazing.

The property is in a very peaceful area with lovely views over Hamford Water Nature Reserve. It was very clean and had everything we needed including a very good welcome pack. It was ideal for us as we love to walk and we could access walks direct from the door. There was so much wildlife to watch. An absolute gem. Perfect peaceful location, spotlessly clean and everything you could need for a great getaway. We were met by Martin who was very welcoming and we were very impressed by the welcome pack of essentials which we werent expecting.The lodge is in a stunning location with every amenity you will need for either a short or long stay, lotsRead more of local information available and recommendations (we ate at the Ship which was excellent and only a 5 min walk away). Located at the edge of the marshes it is an ideal spot for walking and taking in the wildlife (we were lucky to see seals, deer, Kingfisher and woodpeckers) and then back to the lodge to relax and soak up the surroundings through the balcony window which overlooks the fields and marshland. We enjoyed some fossil hunting on the Naze beach and explored Frinton which is very well kept and has some amazing beaches. A great place to do lots or do nothing. Hide

What a lovely hidden gem. I had a very enjoyable stay at the Lodge, visiting for a friends 60th. The owners were friendly and helpful. Its set in a tranquil location with lovely views but within easy access to shops and the beach a short drive away. Spacious, spotlessly clean, decorated to a high standard and well equipped. The bathroom was a good Read moresize with fluffy towels. There is an enclosed secluded garden with table and chairs and barbecue. Walks from the front door. The owners left a generous welcome hamper which was much appreciated. They have only recently started to rent out the property and Im very pleased that they have as it will be my go to when visiting friends in Walton. I would happily recommend the Lodge.
