This charming Cornish getaway is on a jutting piece of land called ‘The Island’ in St Ives, with the sea a mere 150 metres away in three directions. It’s in an elevated spot overlooking the picturesque Porthgwidden area, offering delightful views in a light-filled setting. Nearby, spend the day in the sunshine with your waggy-tailed companion, using a classic beach hut as your base and perhaps grabbing a snack at the delightful beachside cafe (150 metres).

Arriving at the property, you''ll be greeted by a lovely terraced garden – perfect for introducing your canine pal to their new home away from home. Step inside to find a bright and inviting open-plan living area with dual-aspect windows, decorated in delicate coastal hues reminiscent of sand and sea. This space is fabulous for unwinding with a new novel or a film on the Smart TV, as your tired-out pet stretches out on the carpet nearby. Enjoy cosy dinners at the dining table, prepped in the compact galley-style kitchen which is equipped with all the essentials. There’s also a shower room on the ground floor. When it’s time to turn in for the evening, head upstairs to the king-size bedroom tucked under the eaves. Please note the sloping ceilings, which may restrict head height in some areas. We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Location is perfect and the fact that we had a car parking space right outside the cottage is a must for our holiday.

The cottage was clean and well equipped. Ideal for two and in a perfect location close to the beach and the shops etc. It really helped that we could park our car at the cottage.

We had a lovely stay at this property. We have stayed in a lot of places in St Ives over the years and agreed that this one was our favourite. Convenient location with a lovely sea view. Having the parking spot right outside was a huge bonus, it is a small spot but was fine for our car. The property has been decorated and furnished nicely and the kRead moreitchen is well equipped. The courtyard is completely enclosed and there is a small hose at the door which is great if you have a dog with you. We had a really lovely and relaxing stay here, we would definitely consider staying here again in the future! Hide

We really enjoyed our week at 1 Porthgwidden Studios. The location is ideal for access to St Ives and the amazing surrounding beaches and countryside. The property was perfect for us, well equipped, comfortable, clean and an ideal base to explore from. The car parking space, although small (sufficient for a VW Polo), was ideal.

Great property, amazing location with two beaches a stones throw away. The harbour is a further 5 minutes walk and with a parking space included, this is the ideal base for exploring St Ives. We loved the sea views from the lounge and the property was very clean through out, we will return.

Lovely find. Definitely more than an apartment. More a one bedroom house. Parking fine. A bit tight. But we have a big car. But ample. The property is very bright and airy. 3 good windows in the lounge. So the views are very nice the decor is good. Bed very comfortable. . Outside space is an added bonus Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location with parking for medium size vehicle. We were not expecting the view from the room either. Lovely surprise to see the beach from the living room window while having a cuppa. Relaxing and comfy place. Dog treats and poop bags available. Clean and no evidence of previous dogs thanks to the great cleaning team. Very good value for monRead moreey. Hide

Nice comfortable property, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. In a good location, short walk down in to town and close to beaches, with excellent restaurants on the beach. Parking a bit tight but large car park in close proximity.
