Lovely cottage in a wonderful location. We were so lucky with the weather and had sunshine every day with beautiful sunsets. The views from the cottage were amazing. Home Farm Cottage, Boscastle, is in a beautiful location and we were more than happy with our stay. Lovely old stone cottage with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and sea. Fabulous welcome pack which was very much appreciated after our drive. Spotlessly clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Our only disappointment was beingRead more accidentally locked out while we were unloading the car and it took another 2 1/2 hours to find someone with a spare key. The owners were on holiday and if it wasn't for the kindness of a neighbour who knew someone who knew someone to call and the farmhand Andrew, who, along with his partner, went above and beyond, letting us use their phones (ours were locked inside the cottage) and staying with us until we'd managed to regain entry, we would have probably had to turn around and return home the first day. The holiday company were difficult to get hold of but did eventually answer the phone and try to help, which was appreciated. A spare key was eventually located and we were able to gain entry again. Not the best start to our holiday but we didn't let that spoil our week. We love Boscastle and even though the weather was best described as wet and windy with sunny periods, we had a wonderful break. Would highly recommend this holiday cottage and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, but perhaps a better contingency for a spare key could be considered! Hide

The cottage is a little gem in an outstanding environment. I came back to the cottage I stayed in after 23 years! The farm shop had excellent meat, vegetables and dairy at a normal price. We had a 3-stars meal at the Rocket Store (shared food and excellent quality).

A truly splendid cottage located on a working farm. The hosts were fantastic and the cottage was well equipped for a week long stay. We travelled with two small children and a dog and had everything we needed. We cooked some nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, we would recommend this cottage, especially at this price.

Lovely cottage, clean, well decorated. Garden was great with a nice view. Very well equipped. Warm & cosy. We found a lovely walk from Minster church which was walkable from the cottage along the Valency river to Boscastle. Would stay again as great location for Boscastle, Tintagel, Widemouth Bay, Bude plus many more.

A great cottage in a brilliant location. We had good autumn wethater and the sunsets were great. A really generous welcome basket of quality goods from their farm shop. TwRead moreo fires, open one in the living room and a log burner in the dining room. A good smart TV in thenliving room and comfy sofas and chairs. Beds comfortable, bedrooms a little small but for me that's what I want in an autumn break in a cottage on a farm. Their farm shop on the other side of Boscastle is a must visit. Apart from all the usual quality, and here award winning, items their cafe serves excellent quality food and an amazing selection of deserts. Do yourself a favour and go at least once. They also do breakfast but we didn't try this, but I've no doubt it will be excellent. All in all a great location and a well equipped cosy cottage that's well worth a visit. Hide
