Located in the heart of Aberdovey, just metres from the beach and harbour, sits this three-bedroom period cottage. It''s an ideal holiday retreat for a family plus one hound wanting a comfortable haven with easy access to the coast and countryside.
Distributed over three floors, this attractive property is designed with comfort in mind. Sash windows, elegant furnishings, and homely touches sweep through the ground floor creating a relaxing space to unwind in after a day on the beach. While you sink into the sofa with a film on the TV, Fido can pad around the open-plan living area. When it''s time to eat there are plenty of restaurants and pubs on your doorstep, but if you''re in the mood to cook use local produce from the village and create a delicious meal in the kitchen. Serve dinner at the table with seating for four people, and let your pup sit by the window and watch the comings and goings outside. Come bedtime, head upstairs to the spacious king-size bedroom on the first floor. Light and airy, it boasts a delightful sitting area. A double and smaller double are located on the second floor. Both are wonderfully serene and furnished in soothing tones. There''s also a pristine shower room on this floor. Outside, there is space to park one car but no garden. However, the beach is just 20 metres from the door. Enjoy morning walks with Fido along the shore (seasonal restrictions apply) or let your pup scamper year-round over the sand dunes.
Aberdovey is a small seaside village set within the Snowdonia National Park. Try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, or yachting, or splash in the water on the sandy beach. For a scenic 4-mile walk with Fido jump on the Aberdovey Circular Trail. Afterwards, stop for refreshments at one of the many dog-friendly pubs overlooking the sea.
