Perfect for a group gathering accompanied by a couple of four-legged friends, the cottage is bursting with rural charm thanks to its thick stone walls, farmhouse-style kitchen and a glorious acre of gardens for curious canines to explore.

Upon entering, you’re welcomed into a cosy lounge complete with a Smart TV, plush sofas and a crackling wood burner for heat-seeking hounds. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and leads directly into the dining room. Here, another wood burner and a large farmhouse table create the perfect setting for memorable family meals. Just off the dining room, a glazed sunroom provides an ideal spot for kicking off muddy boots and wiping off your pet’s paws after a day of exploring. Towards the back of the house, the utility room offers additional space for storing boots and shoes and has a cool slate floor, making it a great spot for dogs. You’ll also discover a twin bedroom and a stylish tiled shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs, the spacious, super king-size room features double-aspect windows, flooding the space with natural light. An inner landing leads to a bathroom. There are also two attractive king-size bedrooms and a cosy single room. The contemporary family bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside, there’s nearly one acre of grounds featuring lush lawns and a small pond (children should be supervised). The garden also includes a seating area and a fire pit with a grill, perfect for enjoying leisurely summer BBQs with Fido by your side. Off-road parking is available for six cars.

Exmoor National Park begins less than a mile from home, where adventures amongst its dramatic landscapes await inquisitive pups. The charming South Molton is 10 miles away, famous for its bustling pannier market held twice weekly in the heart of town. For a day at the seaside, the coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are 20 miles away, where you and your furry friend can ride between the two on the Victorian-era water-powered funicular railway.

Idyllic little cottage in the middle of the Devonshire countryside. We stayed with our two children and our friends and their two children over the Christmas week. The wood burners added to the charm with a good amount of wood already supplied. Lots of pheasants, sheep and deer. The children loved it! Very cosy and Christmassy - which is exactly wRead morehat we were after, to get away from London. Would recommend visiting Dulverton about 25mins drive - lovely little village with a great pub. Myself and my husband stayed at the farm with our 2 sons and their wives and children. The house was perfect for us all, even if my sons, both 6 foot 4, had the odd bumped head on the low ceilings
