This is a fantastic cottage! We were three adults and a dog and we had plenty of space. The garden is huge, with lots of seating and there is a barbecue. Views from every window. Location is stunning. We stayed in April and there were curlews, lapwings and oystercatchers everywhere! Lots of options for walking (with or without getting in the car), Read morewhether you want a gentle potter or a full day fell walking. The kitchen is the most well-equipped I have ever seen. There is no conventional cooker - instead there is an aga, two air fryers and a portable hob. Cooking on the aga was a lot of fun, but it does lose it's heat in the evening so forward planning is required! The parking instructions mentioned a garage - don't be fooled by the outbuilding to the left of the property - the real garage has been demolished but there is a parking bay on the right hand side of the front door. We loved our stay at West End. The photos do not do the property justice. Stunning location for those who want to get away from it all whilst still being within easy access to The Dales. Walks and cycles from the doorstep and we will definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing time spent in West end cottage, the location is so beautiful and walks with he dogs were amazing. The cottage has been finished to a high standard while in keeping with that cottage feel, beds are amazing, woodburners a dream and the aga provided the much needed warmth when back from the walks. 10/10 we will definitely be stayiRead moreng again.
