Make unforgettable memories with your loved ones at this delightful cottage in a stylish complex of properties. It is nestled in the countryside just 6 miles outside the pretty river town of Barnstaple. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal option for small groups or families in search of a gorgeous cottage to call home while they explore Devon together. During the day, explore the ancient woodlands and picturesque villages of Exmoor National Park; and in the evening, come home to fire up the charcoal BBQ and enjoy an al fresco dinner while your pups run free in the enclosed courtyard garden.
When you arrive, take a moment to admire the charming stone exterior of this cottage, as well as the expansive country views that surround you. Step inside and you’ll find an inviting entrance hall that leads to the bright and cheerful open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area that showcases plush furnishings and chic wooden-panelled accent walls. Head to the contemporary kitchen area to whip up some dinner, which you can enjoy at the glass dining table. Alternatively, head out into the courtyard garden and dine alfresco while your pups play around the enclosed space. After dinner, head back to the lounge area and relax by a pebble-effect electric fire while your pups sleep contentedly at your feet. At the end of the day, head to the first floor and you’ll find two delightful king-size bedrooms – one with an en-suite shower room and one with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Private parking is available for two cars.
Make your way to the Tarka Trail (7.5 miles) and take your pups for walkies along the Barnstaple to Braunton stretch of the 180-mile trail. Alternatively, let your pups run free at Saunton Sands (13 miles), a stunning stretch of golden sand that’s dog-friendly all year round.
