For a doggie-friendly break in a spacious, beautifully presented home, stay at this three-bedroom cottage in Northrepps, Norfolk. It’s located within a holiday park with plenty of on-site facilities to explore and is surrounded by private scenic woodlands that the dogs will adore sniffing out. And with the gorgeous Overstrand Beach just 1.5 miles away, it’s easy to find some sandy adventures, too (please note, some dog restrictions are in place during summer).
Inside, the cottage has a stylish decor in calming shades of blue and green. Elegant wooden flooring in many of the rooms creates a modern effect. There’s a roomy lounge with dual-aspect windows, a Smart TV, ample seating for humans and a warm rug for canine snoozers – perfect for relaxing evenings after a day in the fresh air. The large kitchen has grey units and a dining area for sociable meals. When it’s time to rest, retire to one of three bedrooms – a king-size, a double bed and a colourful twin. The family bathroom, with a shower over the bath, completes the indoor space. Head outside to make the most of the fully enclosed garden, equipped with furniture so you can dine in the fresh air while your pets chow down on their holiday bones. There is private off-road parking for three cars.
Nearby, take leisurely walks along nearby trails, or explore the charming village of Northrepps (1 mile) where you’ll find a historic church and a traditional pub. Head to Cromer (1.5 miles) to enjoy a stroll along the pretty pier. A little further along the coast, East Runton Beach (3 miles) is completely doggie friendly all year round. Or for a National Trust experience, we recommend Felbrigg Hall (4 miles), where dogs are more than welcome to join you in the woodland, parkland, cafe and shop.
