Cottage was pleasant and good base for going out for the day, garden very nice and secure for dogs. some people reviews mention tight turn to get on the drive which is correct, i have a large Nissan Quashqi but made the turn, however it would be difficult had neighbouring cottages had their cars parked on the lane but i was lucky enough not to haveRead more them parked near by when i was parking. First thing i looked for in pics on advert was to see if there were Rads for heating which you can see, however, heating is via one of these stupid heat pumps and was insufficient to say the least, you have no control over the temperature to increase or decrease and rads were luke warm at best in the evening so we had to sit watching TV with Hoodies on and blankets over us. I would still recommend the cottage just make sure you go in warmer months the five nights we had were cold. Hide

Very good location. Driveway difficult to manoeuvre. Well equipped cottage. Better lighting would be good in the sitting room

Very quiet location and ideally places to explore the North Norfolk coast. Very dog friendly with most secure garden of all the cottages we've stayed in. Initial cozy feel and look spoilt by the fact that the central heating can not be controlled at the property (owner has control via phone App apparently). We complained a couple of times but the Read morewholee arrangement was unsatisfactory. Probably idillic though in summer. Thank you for your feedback. When we visited the property to ensure everything was in order we found that the radiator thermostats had been turned down, which was quickly adjusted. For added comfort, a log burner is also available as an extra source of warmth if needed. We appreciate your comments and are always happy to assist with any questions during your stay. Hide

Lovely cosy cottage in the heart of North Norfolk. Visited in February so weather was mixed of course, but the cosy wood burning stove was a bonus. Very lovely 'cottagie' cottage, tastefully decorated and furnished and with a very homily feel to it, There is a well working wood burner for extra atmosphere though you need to get your own logs. The kitchen is well equipped and with good appliances. Washing up liquid, kitchen cloth and towels were kindly provided. We were missing some local dog walking options, ie local footpaths through the countryside (other than the marshes) which we did not manage to find really. Many walks involve quite a bit of pavement.. so we ended up driving to Holkham beach on 3 of the days. Hide
