Hi there I would like to make a complaint about the holiday house we stayed in last week. There were a number of health and safety concerns and general issues with the property. I have outlined these below: Health & safety There is a broken washing line on the side of the house. I tried to put our wet swim wear on it and it hit me in tRead morehe face and broke my brand new glasses. This should be removed entirely as it is dangerous. The trampoline safety net is broken near the zip leaving a large opening which is dangerous if a child fell through this onto the slabs or sleepers. We secured it with a piece of cord so our 3 and 5 year old could jump safely without us having to worry about them falling out. The radiator cover in the dining room is not screwed to the wall. We found this out when my granddaughter leant on it to balance whilst putting her sandals on. It fell on my granddaughters back and hurt her. There are random lawnmowers and bits and bobs in the gardenthat probably just need removing / throwing away. One of the shower doors isnt fixed onat the bottom of the runner and you can pull this out! Based on other bits and pieces in the garden, we werent convinced that the punch bag is safe - looks a bit precarious. There is a step going into the toilet downstairs - could do with a signto highlight this. Fridge - you cant put anything in the door and there is no light in there. There doesnt seem to be instructions for anything. For example: The WiFi - where is the box located and how do you fix it? It went down for us one night. We restarted it and it worked again but took a while to figure that out. No instructions on recycling/ food waste / where it goes / dates it is collected etc. Hot tub - no instructions about how to do the chlorine etc. the instructions on the website are minimal and it took a bit of googling to figure this out. The filter actually needed changing which again took time to figure out. The house has not been cleaned properly - there are cobwebs/dust all over the place. It really needs a full on and proper deep clean. I found part of an ice lolly wrapper under the rad in the living room, that didnt belong to us. The hot tub dome needs a power wash. In terms of general feedback, the house looks a bit tired - bits need fixing / replacing / painting - like the radiators and the kitchen skirtings. There are musty smells in some of the cupboards and you cant open some of the windows properly. We paid over 3,000 to stay in the house for a week and for that price the house should really be at a high standard of safety and cleanliness. It is a real shame as the house itself is really lovely, but these aspects let it down for us and we wouldnt stay again or recommend it. Hide

Beautiful property. Spacious, stylish, clean and comfortable. Bread, butter, tea & milk was there on our arrival. You will need a car but everything on the island is close. The property was in a good quiet location, albeit a little further from the seafront than anticipated, plus it is uphill to get back. Overall it is an impressive house with very good outside facilities.

Fantastic holiday home enjoyed by our multigenerational family. As we had such good weather we used mainly the garden and all it had to offer. The hot tub being a favourite but also the swings. The trolley for taking all our beach equipment down to the beach to set up camp was a real gem.
