Enjoy seeing Rex having the time of his life on the beach when you stay at this delightful retreat in Guestling. Situated on a working farm, 5.5 miles from Hastings, the one-bedroom cottage sleeps just two human guests, making it ideal for a couple with a four-legged friend. Looking out across the fields, the single-storey hideaway captures scenic views and has a courtyard garden where you and Rex can soak up the serenity.

Dry damp paws then let Rex pad inside to make himself at home in the airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Pull back the bi-folding doors in here on warm days to allow the fresh air in and your happy hound out. Sink back into the soft sofa in front of the Smart TV while he lies at your feet on the rug. Unpack any delicious Sussex produce you have bought over in the kitchen area then whip up a romantic meal to enjoy at the table. Rex won''t feel left out as he can enjoy his meals here too. Make plans for lots of great dog-friendly activities for the following day, then show your contented canine where to sleep. Head on through to the lovely double bedroom to enjoy your own comfortable night. Refresh yourself in the shower room in the morning then have breakfast out in the sunshine on summer days while Rex waits patiently for the first outing to begin.

Make your way down to the coast, almost 4.5 miles away, to let your chum play in the shallows. Here, Pett Level Beach welcomes four-pawed visitors at any time of year. Follow a section of the 1066 Country Walk, which begins at Pevensey Castle and finishes at Rye, 7 miles from the cottage. Sections of the walk cross the magnificent High Weald National Landscape.

Well-equipped small cottage in quiet and beautiful rural location, situated within a farm. Good walks from the cottage, and not far (about 5 miles) from the sea. Excellent for bird watching.

We had a great stay over the Christmas break. A lovely, warm cottage with great views & great hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is very comfortable & has underfloor heating, which was very welcomed on a few of the chilly mornings & evenings. Our dog settled in so quickly. She had everything she needed provided by our hosts Read more& there were some great walks around. The Three Oaks pub nearby is a great, quirky place to visit. Great food & lots of it! It was a great base for us as we were visiting family in Ringmer, Hastings & Battle. All within easy driving distance. All in all we had a great stay & may well be back again someday. Hide

What a fantastic break, the location is awesome, the owners Mark and Diana were lovely and they understood what was needed for a dog friendly holiday as they go on dog friendly holidays themselves. The dogs were able to run free and really have such a great time.
