Entering this delightful getaway, you will be met by the cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden beams and an array of plush furnishings and characterful features. The welcoming lounge has a Smart TV, comfortable seating and a lovely wood burner for your canine pals to snooze in front of. There’s a stylish dining table to one side, and the colourful kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of storage and workspace. The property also features a chic, beautifully decorated king-size bedroom and an elegant en-suite shower room. Outside, the pretty garden is an ideal space to unwind in with your pet, finding a corner to lie in the shade. Featuring a patio, BBQ, outdoor furniture and a delightfully shaded seating area, the garden also has a soothing undercover hot tub for you to luxuriate in. The property lies a mile from the historic village of Sedlescombe, making a great base for pets and their owners exploring the High Weald. Dog-friendly landmarks include English Heritage’s 1066 Battle of Hastings Abbey and Battlefield, the grounds at Bodiam Castle, and Bedgebury Pinetum and Forest, all within 12 miles. For a day by the sea, there’s a lovely dog-friendly beach at St Leonards-on-Sea (11.5 miles).

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The property has all we needed for a most wonderful stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, no issues at all. The perfect getaway for a week with our two small dogs. Fantastic cottage. Perfect size for 2 and had everything you needed. Washing machine and hot tub were a bonus. Superb decor , bathroom with robes lovely. Kim was very welcoming and there if you needed but the hideaway felt secluded. The view from hot tub is great.

Had a lovely weekend stay in the fabulous Hideaway. The hot tub is spotless & well maintained as is the whole property. We stayed just before Christmas & there was a lovely Christmas tree waiting there for us! Lovely views & a short drive to take the dog to the beach. Would definitely return!

We have just spent a week here and we absolutely loved it, our 2 German shepherds also loved it! Spending evenings in the top of the range hot tub relaxing before going to bed was just what we needed! The hosts Steve & Kim made us feel most welcome upon our arrival. Absolutely amazing cottage and location, if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday with a hot tub thus is the place, you also have the option of many sites and attractions within easy reach. Kim has done an amazing job with this beautiful cottage, we will definitely go back.
