Lose yourself in tail-wagging views across the rolling countryside in the heart of Cornwall from almost every window of this enchanting family-friendly cottage. This charming retreat offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and adventure; countless tracks and trails await to be explored from the doorstep.

Beneath the traditional stone exterior, you''ll find a gorgeous mixture of contemporary touches combined with rustic charm in both cosy lounges; your pup won''t be able to resist curling up beside the roaring wood burners whilst you unwind tired walking toes. Perfectly echoing the rich history of the cottage with a beautiful country cottage-style aesthetic, the light and bright kitchen/diner boasts plenty of space for the whole family and your top dog''s water bowl. Upstairs, you''ll find five enchanting bedrooms that feature tail-wagging views across the open countryside; one en-suite king-size, one king-size, one double, one twin zip-and-link (can be made up as a super-king-size) and one single. Outside, unwind in the hot tub amongst serene farmland views as children and four-legged friends have a ball exploring the lawn and children''s play area. During your stay, please keep canine friends under control due to livestock in neighbouring fields. Up to five car parking spots are available.

The only sound you''ll hear as you explore this idyllic spot near Blisland (1.5 miles) is the sound of your pup''s tag tinkling in the wind. Join a myriad of scenic walks through lush meadows and verdant hillsides from the doorstep, or slightly further afield, the Camel Trail (1.5 miles), a traffic-free disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow, provides a wonderfully shaded walk. On the edge of Bodmin Moor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are miles of heather-clad moorland and remote footpaths to explore. Venture to the idyllic village of Padstow, 17.5 miles away, to discover some wonderful local produce from its fabulous selection of independent cafes and restaurants.

The property is located with gorgeous views out from the garden. We went with our children and grandchildren and had loads of space and the boys had the best of times playing in the garden which was secure and safe. Facilities were great and with loads of room we were able to spread out and relax or all sit together at the large dining table. We loved it so much we have already booked and paid for another stay next year. Hide

A fabulous house in a fabulous location. A real feel of comfort, wonderful towels and bedding. Fantastic to have two wood burners and the hot tub!! It was the attention to detail by the owner, the house was decorated for Christmas, so many useful things in the kitchen, saving you having to bring a host of things. What a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The place was easy to find, well equipped, and although the weather was patchy, our kids enjoyed the garden.

Lovely cottage with great views. Garden well kept and tidy. Equipped to a very high standard and a separate room with TV for older children and numerous games. The log fired hot tub was an unexpected bonus with the warm weather it was used in the evening. In fact we might even buy one. Certainly would consider the cottage next year.

Superb property in great location with places like Padstow, Port Isaac, Newquay etc on your doorstep. Hosts really have thought of everything from providing luxury bedding, bath sheets and plenty of extra towels to all cleaning products, toiletries including bath/shower gel/shampoo/hair dryers/iron (things I always think about when going away) Read moreSuperb countryside scenery with livestock all around. Cannot believe how close we were to the motorway as no noise experienced, very peaceful and tranquil. Hosts really have gone over and above to make this a fantastIc stay. Even small touches like an emergency pack for little essentials you may have forgotten to pack. The hot tub was great, took a while to heat and if using regularly as we did, you will need to get plenty of firewood in. Well equipped kitchen and loved the two seperate lounge areas where lots of extras were provided including indoor/outdoor toys and games, cookery/reading books, instruction manuals for the property. Well equipped garden with plenty of seating and climbing frame for children. Have recommended a swing/slide for under 3s would be a great addition. BBQ and ice bath great additions too! High chair, travel cot and baby gates also provided. Good choice of supermarkets to choose from in local area. All our guests (7 in total) were impressed with the set up of this property and quality of everything. We said the only thing missing is that there are no local pubs within walking distance if you didnt want to drive but really wasnt an issue, just something we are used to at home. This really was a home from home experience and we cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be visiting again. Hide

The house is nice, mind your head (my son in law is nearly 7 feet tall ! He had to duck a lot). Asda is nearby for food shop.
