This spacious holiday home is in the seaside town of Bude, on Cornwall’s rugged north coast. Sleeping eight guests and two canine buddies, the property is great for both family get-togethers and holidays with friends. You’ll be just 0.5 miles from a paw-friendly beach and from the cottage, it’s easy to take day trips to Tintagel Castle and the unspoilt harbour village of Boscastle.
The coastal retreat is decorated in a contemporary style, with a neutral colour palette and a cute array of beach-themed accessories and artwork. Kick off sandy shoes in the hallway and head through to the bright and airy kitchen/diner, where you’ll find ample space for the dog beds, as well as all the equipment needed to cater for a large group. Gather here around the dining table for memorable mealtimes after a day at the beach or a long coastal walk with the hounds. In the summer months, throw open the patio doors to further extend the social space. After dinner, relax in the elegant lounge, where you’ll find a collection of comfortable seating set around a Smart TV. This room also has direct access to the garden. Heading upstairs, discover four beautiful bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A stylish family bathroom completes this floor. Outside, the garden has a choice of areas for al fresco dining or relaxing in the sunshine. There is also an enclosed lawn where Rover and Fido can stretch their legs.
Bude is a lively seaside town with a great range of friendly pubs, fish and chip shops, cafes, and gift shops. You and your furry sidekicks can enjoy peaceful strolls along the towpath of the canal or stride out across the wild and remote cliff-top paths that branch away from the town. Bude has some fabulous, sandy beaches, including Summerleaze, right in the heart of the town. During the summer months, woofers need to be on a lead here in the daytime, but they can enjoy off-lead fun after 6pm. Nearby beaches with no restrictions include Sandymouth Bay and Duckpool Beach.
