Bring together friends, family, and furry companions in this spacious holiday retreat in North Cornwall. The property, which sleeps eight humans and three hounds, is set on a holiday resort 7.5 miles from Padstow and guests have access to a whole host of onsite facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, a wake park, a bar, and a restaurant - please note, these facilities are at an additional cost and are open only subject to weather conditions. You’ll be within easy reach of some of Cornwall’s finest paw-friendly beaches, and nearby woof-welcoming attractions include Prideaux Place and Lappa Valley (both within 10 miles).
The holiday home is arranged across three floors and is decorated in a cool, contemporary style. On the ground floor is a spacious lounge/diner with a coastal colour scheme, wooden floors, and a collection of comfortable furniture set around a Smart TV. To the rear of the room is a large dining table for sharing mealtimes as a group and, on a summer’s day, you can open the glass doors to allow the pups to amble in and out to the patio. A separate, monochrome kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. The four stylish bedrooms are set across the first and second floors, and all have en-suite facilities. Two of the bedrooms also have balconies overlooking the lake – the perfect spot for a morning coffee. At ground level, there is a patio area, also enjoying waterside views, with outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and your own private hot tub for reviving weary legs after a long walk with the woofers.
The attractive harbour town of Padstow is renowned for its exceptional array of pubs and restaurants, many of which welcome waggy-tailed visitors, as well as its intriguing boutiques, galleries and gift shops. After a potter around the town, let the hounds lead the way along the South West Coast Path, where you’ll enjoy spectacular sea views. A 0.5-mile stroll brings you to the sandy shores of St George’s Cove, which welcomes four-legged friends all year. Nearby day trips include the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac (15 miles) and the vibrant seaside resort of Newquay (10.5 miles).
