The wood-panelled interior and soft furnishings create a sense of tranquillity and, after a day of exploring, you can cosy up on the sofa with a film on the TV and Fido by your feet. On sunny days, open the French doors and let the fresh Cumbrian air breeze in. When it''s time to eat, the neat kitchen is perfect for rustling up simple meals which can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or outside on the private deck. Come bedtime, retire to the double bed and be lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature. In the morning, start the day with a refreshing shower then step outside for coffee at the table. While away the hours by gazing at the majestic views or indulging in a soothing soak in the hot tub.
The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with plenty of hiking, walking, and cycling trails straight from your doorstep. Fido will delight in scampering across the moorland as you conquer the peaks of Catbells, Skiddaw, or Blencathra or for a more leisurely pace, walk along the old railway path to the market town of Keswick (4 miles). Alternatively, you and your pup can enjoy a drink at the welcoming pub in nearby Threlkeld village (1 mile).
