Very nice house - we enjoyed our week away in Wooler. The house is actually in Wooler so is close to good places to eat and shops. Wooler is a very good location for visiting all Northumberland. We visited all the coastline as far North as Berwick as well as inland places like Cragside & Wallington.

House in great location for touring the area and accessing eateries. Nice selection of individual shops. Grinders great for lunch or coffee and cake and Milan was excellent for evening meal. Staff were attentive and polite. Anchor inn and Lady Mucks best pubs but lady Mucks 3 more expensive than the Anchor for same two drinks. Staff in the Anchor wRead moreere much more friendly than the Bull inn and The Angel. Young barmaid was extremely unwelcoming. Looked at us as if to say "what you doing in here"? Hide

Lovely cottage with everything needed for a holiday. Excellent location being just off the high street, ability to support local business and a great base for exploring everything Northumberland has to offer.

Lionel's Den is a wonderful place to stay. It is spotlessly clean all through the home, including bedding and linen. The furnishings are comfortable. Hot water and heat all work wonderfully and it is extremely well equipped in the kitchen. There are also televisions in both the sitting room and bedroom. I had no issues here at all, including check Read morein and check out. The situation is fabulous. It is in Wooler at the top of the high street. Shops, cafes and pubs within 2 mins walking and there is a bus stop at other end of high street. I cannot fault the cottage or my experience with holidaycottages.co.uk. No issues at all. It was a delightful pace to stay. Hide
