Park your cars in the private parking space (there’s room for four cars) and head to this charming two-storey farmhouse. Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by a characterful, open-plan lounge/diner area that’s complete with a fireplace, beautiful exposed beams and stylish furniture. Take a moment to make yourself at home before heading to the traditional kitchen to cook up a feast. Gather everyone to eat together around the formal dining table, or make your way to the spacious enclosed garden to dine al fresco on the patio area. After dinner, head to the lounge area warm your toes in front of the open fire while your pup sleeps at your feet. There’s also an additional lounge – a plus if your group in multi-generational and the kids want their own space. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find two lovely double bedrooms – one with its own en-suite bathroom – as well as a handy twin and one king-size bedroom (can be made into twin upon request) that has its own en-suite bathroom. Completing the layout, you’ll find a family bathroom on the same level.
Pack up a picnic and take a walk by the River Bure with your pup at Coltishall Common (1 mile). Alternatively, head down the trails of the Bure Valley (9 miles) where you’ll discover beautiful meadows, waterways and woodlands that offer plenty of nature-watching opportunities.
