Very peaceful and quiet. Great wildlife. But: Unwashed mattress and bed covers, some unwashed dishes, toilet brush is disgusting, a vacuum cleaner too weak to clean the carpet. For 3 weeks vacation only 1 set of towels and no washing machine. There was never anyone at the reception to report. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the lodgRead moree is clean. Hide

The lodge is situated in the right hand corner of the site. It was clean , comfortable and very peaceful. We loved sitting on the decking in the sunshine with a coffee each morning and then loved seeing the bunnies and a deer roaming around. My husband also caught a few fish which was an added bonus. I have to also say that the lamb and flag pub Read morewhich is a 10 minute walk was amazing. There are a few things that would make this lodge perfect, a welcome pack with inf for the WiFi and surrounding area and that the gate to the site is locked in the evening and you will need a security fob to get back in. The lack of a hairdryer, extra towels and tea towels was also an issue after a couple of days Hide
