This traditional Cornish cottage near the village of Pelynt makes the perfect romantic retreat for you and your favourite human and hounds. The cottage sits within a 50-acre estate and you and the woofers can enjoy woodland walks and visit the resident wildlife in the lake. Wander into the village, 1.5 miles away, to dine in the friendly local pub, or head further afield to sample the culinary delights in nearby Looe or Polperro (both within 6 miles).
The stone cottage is full of personality and charm, with fabulous original features, antique furniture, and homely creature comforts. After a long walk with the pups, unwind in the inviting lounge and catch up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV whilst Rover and Fido doze next to the open fire. The compact kitchen has been carefully designed to include everything needed for a self-catering holiday, and you can share home-cooked dinners at the sweet table overlooking the garden. A narrow spiral wood and stone staircase leads to the double bedroom on the first floor. This room is decorated in a traditional style and enjoys far-reaching rural views. Completing the first floor is an en-suite bathroom. Outside, soak in your own private hot tub or fire up the BBQ for an al fresco supper, as your canine buddies potter around on the enclosed lawn.
The lively seaside town of Looe has a fantastic array of woof-welcoming eateries lining its picturesque, cobbled streets. Many of the independent shops and boutiques also welcome canine visitors. The South West Coast Path passes through Looe, and you can sniff and explore your way along the clifftops to Polperro or Seaton. Although the main beach is Looe is a woof-free zone, there are plenty of other beaches within easy reach of the town, including Hannafore, which welcomes four-legged beach-goers all year.
