This gorgeous property, situated in the charming coastal village of Nefyn, is perfect for the whole family – including the dog. Sleeping six over three peaceful bedrooms, this holiday home is an opportunity to explore both coast and country with Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park accessible within 23 miles. Spend sunny days making sandcastles on the northern side of Nefyn Beach (0.5 miles) where pups are welcome all year, or try the Beddgelert and Gelert’s Grave circular walk (26 miles) for a family stroll.

Store muddy boots and coats in the welcoming entrance hall before heading up the stairs to the cosy open-plan living area. Stylish neutrals, stunning wood furnishings and a huge picture window beckon you to sink into the comfortable sofas, gazing out at the wonderful views while the pup snoozes at your feet. The traditionally styled kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and eat at the dining table in the living area; dine alfresco in the summer months on the enclosed front patio where you could sizzle up a BBQ. Snuggle between the sheets in the tranquil double bedroom or enjoy a long soak in the contemporary bathroom that has a shower over the bath. Up the spiral staircase to the second floor, the games room with a TV and Nintendo Wii will keep the kids entertained, and the two airy twin rooms will ensure they get a good night’s sleep.

Wander the streets of the pretty fishing village of Porthdinllaen (2 miles) and enjoy a hearty meal at the dog-friendly pub before taking a stroll along the Llyn Coastal Path. There are so many beaches for the kids and dog to enjoy, including Pwllheli (8 miles), Llanbedrog (10 miles) and Porth Neigwl (12.5 miles).
