Let your energetic hounds race around and chase a ball on the golden sands of Broad Haven Beach, just 400 metres from this stunning holiday cottage. The house is equipped with everything you’ll need for a family holiday or couple’s getaway, with fresh, stylish decor inside and even an enclosed garden where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an al fresco supper as your pups play on the lawn.

Stride up the sloping path with five steps to reach the front door of this bright and breezy property. Pale walls and jewel-like tones give the interior a real get-away-from-it-all feel. Step through the kitchen, with its large fridge/freezer, taking time to set your mutts’ bowls down on the tiled floor. Then turn into the stunning lounge/diner, a light and airy room with a timber floor and sofas facing a Smart TV. There’s plenty of room here for your canine companions to stretch out in their beds on the floor while you stream a favourite show or chat around the dining table. When night falls, you’ll find two gorgeous bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with ample storage, sharing the family bathroom. The landscaped gardens offer choice of outdoor spaces in which you and your furry friends can relax. The patio terrace boasts a dining table with benches and a hanging basket chair, and there’s also a bistro table for two to dine alfresco and a small lawn to one side with additional seating for two.

From the traditional seaside village of Broad Haven you can take the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to Little Haven, 0.5 miles, which offers a small, sandy cove where your pup can paddle. The fascinating, historic attraction of Carew Castle and Tidal Mill is 16.5 miles, and for shops and eateries, the tiny city of St David’s is just 17 miles.

Lovely property, very clean and modern. Has all the equipment you could possibly need. Parking is on a pull in/verge on the very quiet road. If not suitable, car park, one minute walk down the road. 5 mins walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the cottage. The setting was so peaceful, yet with easy reach of the nature walk and, of course, the beach. We all loved it, as I said, especially the dog, of course!

We really all enjoyed our stay at Pencoed. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed for a wonderful week made perfect by unseasonal sun for all except one day, We would definitely like to return next year. Also we were impressed how dog friendly all the shops and bars were. The owners should be really proud.

We have been coming to B'haven since 1996, it is a glorious place for kids and dogs. Pencoed is minutes from the sea and shops but in a very quiet spot. It is well equipped and very clean. Nice outdoor seating and dining table also. We would certainly book again.
