Your four-pawed friends will have a ball on holiday in this stunning property, which welcomes six people and up to two hairy hounds. Just metres from a dog-friendly pub, it offers space, comfort and lovely views, and is a great base for outdoor adventures both on the land and the water.

This charming property has been decorated with great care and attention to detail, and has a modern/country vibe that’s instantly appealing. Let your furry friends lead the way into the pretty lounge/diner, where natural, neutral colours set the tone for a tranquil getaway. Gather around the dining table for celebratory meals, and afterwards you can relax with a movie on the Smart TV, perhaps throwing a log on the wood burner for a warming glow as your canine companions enjoy a snooze. The bright kitchen boasts a gorgeous Smeg fridge/freezer, and its tiled floor is perfect for doggie bowls, while you can perhaps store their food in the utility room. A shower room completes the ground floor. On the first floor you’ll find all three bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite shower room, plus two twins – and the family bathroom. For outside space you have a peaceful rear courtyard, accessed via the utility, where you can store outdoor equipment, plus a lovely decked area at the front which is furnished with a bench seat, perfect for lounging and relishing those gorgeous views.

The vibrant and welcoming village of Golant is set on the River Fowey between Lostwithiel, 6 miles, and Fowey, 4 miles, all joined by a walk along the Saints’ Way. This is the perfect place for hounds big and small who have lots of energy, while canines who like to dip their paws in the waves can go mutts at Par Sands Beach, 3.5 miles.

Beautiful home, well equipped with everything you may need. Location is stunning, but on a very steep hill, so you need to be relatively fit, to walk up the hill from the pub. Parking at the cottage is tricky, and takes a few attempts to master it, but there are other options if you need them.

Really enjoyed the cottage it was of high standards and comfort. Three wash rooms was ideal which led to us all able to get ready at the same time. We had lovely nights sleep and glorious views from the cottage and sitting outside in the mornings. The weather was good apart from one day when it rained all day so we had a shopping trip into Fowey. TRead morehe driveway was a challenge for our crossover car so we soon gave up on that parking idea and parked by the yacht club and paid a weeks fee. We didnt mind the short stroll down to the river to collect each day. The fishermans arms does lovely food and well worth a visit. Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location very clean well equipped could not ask for more looking forward to our next visit
