Inside, the hallway provides a convenient spot to dry off muddy paws and store boots after a day of exploring. Relax in the cosy snug with a Smart TV, or gather in the light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge’s large corner sofa is the perfect spot to curl up with your hound at your feet, while a book-filled nook offers a quiet corner for relaxation. The kitchen is well set up for whipping up hearty meals to fuel your adventures. Upstairs, the king-size room features an en-suite shower room with a porthole window and views of the estuary. The super-king zip-and-link bedroom can be converted to a twin for flexibility, and the twin room is great for younger guests. A family bathroom with a bath and separate shower completes the upstairs space. Outside, pups can play safely on the lawn while the family enjoys a game of table tennis or relaxes in the summer house, complete with a Smart TV, pool table, and games table. Fire up the gas BBQ for al fresco feasts, and soak in the hot tub as the sun sets. There’s even an outdoor shower for rinsing sandy paws. Parking for two cars is available, plus visitor spaces can be arranged.

Less than 500 metres from your holiday home, Instow''s pet-friendly beach is ideal for morning walks or a game of fetch. Stroll through the village''s pretty streets to discover a deli, fantastic eateries, and dog-friendly pubs where your four-pawed pal can join the fun. For a taste of adventure, the Tarka Trail offers breathtaking coastal walks and cycling paths for stretching paws and legs alike. Hop on the seasonal summer ferry to visit the picturesque fishing village of Appledore or head to Westward Ho! (5 miles) for traditional seaside fun, complete with water sports and pet-friendly stretches of sand.

The best accommodation we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot over the last twenty years. Absolutely spotless, everything you needed was there. Facilities were first class and the location was fantastic. Great enclosed garden and very spacious inside. Can highly recommend.

Fabulous property and location. Well equipped with superior products. Very close to the beach and Tarka trail for long walks. Perfect for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

High Beach is an absolutely lovely property. Everything was clean and tidy. The house is large and room and very well equipped.. Great enclosed back garden for the poodle! The hot tub was very nice. Five minutes walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and we will return!

Great house and superb location. We were 2 couples and had no problem with parking our 2 cars. Really appreciated the enclosed garden for our dog. Very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We would definately book again, so this speaks for itself.

Lots of space, secure large back garden, board games, mini pool table, table tennis, badminton net, fantastic hot tub & great summer house.Super comfy beds, quality towels supplied. Beautiful property, very comfortable and very well equipped. The hot tub was a welcome treat at the end of the day, and we used the pool table in the summer house. Spotlessly clean, and a real home from home, spacious and with every facility we needed. The location is great, less than 2 minutes to the beach which is a haven for dog walkers! The watRead moreer quality in the estuary is not great and swimming is not advised, but there are so many other beautiful beaches nearby if we wanted a swim. The village has few facilities, four pubs and one expensive deli. The nearest mini-supermarket was about 2 miles away as was the nearest fish and chip shop. Back to the property, it is excellent for those with furry friends as it has two covered areas to clean and dry your pets before entering the house, plus an outdoor shower with warm water, we stay in a lot of properties in this country and this is by far the best for being dog friendly, with a very secure garden that was not overlooked. The only point to consider is, the advert states parking for two and visitor parking, but in actual fact there is only one allocated parking space nearby, visitor spaces and a time restricted bay for arrival and departure while loading / unloading. The second space they claim is in the block of garages, to park across their garage and the adjoining garage, which they say is hardly used. The problem with this is that other residents do the same, and it is not always possible to gain access to the space in front of this one. Had we arrived with two cars we would not have been happy with the arrangements, a more accurate description is one allocated space plus visitor parking spaces. Overall, we would definitely stay again, we had the most relaxing week, the only problem was it was so comfortable we didnt want to go far, and so apart from our walks on Instow beach with the dogs and visits to the local pub restaurants, we only went out in our car three times in the whole week, we didnt get much sightseeing in!! But the rest was exactly what we needed! Hide

This is an excellent property and well laid out. All the equipment you need is provided. Its also very close to the estuary beach and a couple of reasonable eating places. Our only criticism is the fact we ordered the cot and high chair which was not in evidence when we arrived. We contacted the help number for help. They promised a local agent wouRead moreld make contact to assist. No call back was received and we chased this with help line but still no call back. We searched the house for the items. Eventually, we found a key to the boiler room which was partially hidden by the door frame. The cot and high chair were in this room. Normally we find cots and high chairs assembled for us when renting holiday homes but here you have to do it yourself. When we arrived home there were 2 answerphone messages from the local agent explaining where the cot and high chair were. So they did get back to us but no help contacting our home phone as clearly we werent there. Hide

Lovely stay. The house was perfect and had everything you needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil you could think of! Lovely big garden, summer house and hot tub. Walking distance to Instow beach and local pubs. We were very sad to leave :(

Beautiful cottage in an ideal place. Lovely and clean with all the equipment you could ask for. Enclosed garden has all the essentials for children to play and dog when you return from the beach to have a shower before entering the house. Near lovely pubs ans a fabulous cafe/shop. Will definitely book again.

Superb property!! Newly refurbished to a very high standard, quality fixtures and fittings & lots of space. This is a beautiful house, very well equipped and the owners have been so thoughtful to people staying here. Would highly recommend this house, very spacious and lots of activities for the whole family. Just a very short walk to the beach.
