Just north of Bude, across the border to Devon, you’ll find the Hartland Heritage Coast (14 miles) where you can stroll atop the rugged cliffs and wander through ancient woodlands. One of the most characterful villages in the area is Clovelly (15 miles), known for its unusual car-free roads, steep cobbled pathways and breathtaking scenery. With a dog-friendly pub and plenty of heritage and history to uncover, it’s a great place for all the family.
