Take a break at this country-style cottage which is ideally suited to small families and couples, welcoming two hounds to come along and experience all that North Wales has to offer. Boasting an enclosed garden, your pup will love playing in the sunshine before heading inside for a snooze beside the wood burner. What’s more, the marina of Pwllheli is just 5 miles away for picturesque walkies and a morning treat at one of the local dog-friendly eateries.
At the heart of the retreat is the living room, decorated in pastel hues with a cosy sofa and traditional wood burner. Next door, the kitchen is similarly styled with a beautiful Belfast sink and a solid wood dining table seating four. The utility room offers helpful extra storage, and the downstairs bathroom is a convenient addition, boasting a p-shaped bath for evening relaxation. Both bedrooms can be found on the first floor alongside the shower room. The bedroom enjoys a sumptuous super-king-size bed, tastefully decorated with a modern flourish. Bedroom two is furnished with a king-sized bed and is more traditionally styled with pretty views out of the window. The garden area has been designed to balance functionality in the form of a patio with a table and chairs, and fun with an expanse of lawn for dogs to play.
A must whilst staying in the area is to let your dog lead the way to the Wales Coast Path. Accessible from Pwllheli, you can take the routes towards Abersoch (8 miles) or Criccieth (11 miles) for a rewarding experience filled with rugged scenery, whimsical wildlife and exciting scents to sniff. Whilst you’ll be within easy access of the coast, Snowdonia National Park’s fascinating countryside is accessible within 15 miles with a climb up to the summit of Snowdon a 23-mile journey away.
