Within just half a mile you’ll be able to hop aboard the ferry with your four-pawed pal and make your way across to Dartmouth where you’ll find a whole host of eateries welcoming pups, as well as an array of walking trails.
As you step through the front door, you’ll find the open-plan living room and dining area which is decorated in cool shades, encouraging you to kick back and relax with your pup at your feet. There are two comfortable leather sofas for you to sprawl out on, as well as a six-seater dining table which is perfect for mealtimes and evenings spent playing board games. At the rear of the property is the monochrome kitchen which is equipped with everything you’ll need during your self-catering holiday. A handy WC completes the ground floor. From the open-tread staircase in the living area, you’ll be able to access the first floor where two of the three bedrooms are located. Bedroom one overlooks the river with a delightful double bed whilst the second room features a bunk bed with a single over a double. One final steep staircase provides access to the third and final room which also features a double bed. The garden area is a suntrap with a patio area and a table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Let your dog lead the way to adventure in Brixham where you can stroll along the harbour and soak up the vibrant culture of the town. From here, you can take a walk along the South West Coast Path to Berry Head Lighthouse, a route that’s sure to set tails wagging. Alternatively, head further inland to Ashburton (20 miles) and you’ll be on the edge of Dartmoor National Park which is steeped in myths and legends with an incredible array of wildlife and plant life to sniff out.
