Bursting with character, this traditionally styled cottage is a fantastic place for families and friends to gather together with their four-pawed pals. With features such as a wood burner, a games room and wildflower meadows surrounding the buildings, there’s plenty to please both humans and hounds. For delightful days out on the coast, you’ll find the dog-friendly beach of Old Hunstanton less than 3 miles away.
The main barn sleeps eleven guests, and has an impressive living area with large sofas beneath exposed beams, bricks and a wood burner. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the view, allowing natural light in. Adjoining the area is the kitchen/diner, complete with AGA. There’s a second diner with dual-aspect windows and far-reaching scenery. Younger guests will love the snug with TV and board games. There’s a pretty family bathroom and the first two bedrooms, one with a double and the other two sets of bunk beds ideal for children. On the first floor are three further bedrooms, a twin, a double with an en-suite and a single room. The neighbouring property is a pretty cottage which offers added privacy – with a cosy living room, farmhouse-style kitchen/diner and two double bedrooms with en-suites. The enclosed garden has a patio area for dining, surrounded by flower meadows which come alive in the summer months.
Tour the coastline with your dog leading the way on the Norfolk Coast Path from Hunstanton to Brancaster and stop off at Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve (4 miles) to soak in the scenery. For a regal day out, pay a visit to Sandringham Estate where your pups are welcomed to explore the 243 acres of Royal Park. To immerse yourself in the local culture, Burnham Market is a great place to be with a selection of interesting independent shops and eateries where you can dine with your canine.
