Lead the way to adventure in the vibrant West Midlands town of Pershore, staying in this magnificent mid-terrace off the banks of the River Avon. Made for pet-loving pairs holidaying with their dogs in attendance, this happy house hosts two guests and one four-pawed pal. Deliberately designed with pet owners in mind, there’s a helpful dog wash at the front of the property that’s shared with the neighbouring holiday homes, and also dog friendly. Use this when returning home from long walks filled with fetching and sightseeing, ideally amongst the verdant scenery of the Malvern Hills (14 miles) or in the fantastic Cotswolds National Landscape.
This luxuriously appointed cottage is neatly organised over two storeys with space for your pack of three to get cosy and comfortable. Sociable evenings are best enjoyed in the lounge/kitchen with a versatile breakfast bar providing a space to dine at the centre. This room features an L-shaped sofa, a wood burner-effect gas fire, a Smart TV and plenty of room for positioning your dog’s favourite bed, a delightful spot for the cooler months. French doors lead out into an enclosed garden at the back, a space for your pet to run freely whilst you soak aching dog walker’s muscles in the private hot tub. Feeling adequately exercised, leave your sleeping dog to lie downstairs as you explore the super-king-size room on the first floor.
Set off on your daily dog walk via Pershore town centre every day (0.5 miles), passing by the Abbey and wandering along the river as you reach a cafe for your morning brunch. Take a looping route to the Bredon Hill National Nature Reserve (4.5 miles), allowing Fido to sniff out a route and chase wildlife along the way whilst you get to know the area’s rich Iron Age history.
