The mightiest sea views are yours to wake up to when staying in this Devonshire coast cottage, all with the company of your most beloved pets lovingly by your side. Endless games of fetch on the sand, splashing in the sea and even opportunities for surfing are to be found close by, creating an invigorating getaway for man and dog alike. On returning home, a handy outdoor shower in the exceptionally presented garden encourages you to clean off wet paws, sandy fur and surfboards before moving inside. Quality features including the underfloor heating promise to keep toes and paws cosy after long walks or days at the beach, leading eight guests and two dogs to feel utterly comfortable and accommodated throughout every moment of their stay.

Benefiting from a reverse-level layout, large windows and high ceilings, the incredible view and natural light are always prioritised in this two-storey house. The sprawling living space on the first floor is yours to relax in during mealtimes and in the evening, with an abundance of room available for your pets to position their favourite beds. Patio doors from here lead out into the levelled patio and grass garden space, all enclosed and secure for pups to play in. On the ground floor, four bedrooms are attractive and appealing, made for resting dog-tired bodies after long, energetic days.

Situated right on the South West Coast Path, you can grab your pets’ lead and a handful of tennis balls to sniff out adventure right on your doorstep. Visit Westward Ho! beach (2 miles) where a dog-friendly zone can be found all year round and it’s free to roam throughout the cooler months. Pets will always love chasing endless wildlife in the Northam Country Burrows (2.5 miles) that backs onto the beach, so be sure to set tails wagging with some time spent here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Two Rivers . Such a stunning high class house with the most amazing views overlooking the estuary. Even if the weather isnt good it doesnt matter because the quality and the comforts of the house are superb. Just being able to relax in a wonderful setting makes the holiday much more enjoyable come rain or sun . TheRead morere are ample utensils , crockery, pots and pans for all your holiday cooking , a good selection of board games and books to amuse everyone. Its also a bonus being dog friendly and having a car parking space !! We would highly recommend Two Rivers and Appledore . Hide

Very lovely cottage with amazing views, the photos dont do it justice. Its light and spacious and we spent wonderful hours just watching the world go by on the balcony with a glass of wine or watching the sunset and the sunrises were fabulous. It was great to have the garden for our dog, a real bonus and the patio was lovely and sunny in the afteRead morernoons. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise as were the gifts for our dog, he loved the biscuits and the little blanket he snuggled in every evening. Appledore is beautiful, the people are friendly and welcoming. The Beaver Inn was our favourite place for a sundowner, where you can sit outside and watch any activity taking place on the water. We had lunch at the Royal George which was delicious as was the Sunday Roast at The Seagate (bring your appetite), its also a lovely place to sit outside and people watch. Market Street Kitchen is a must for breakfast. Overall we had a great week at Two Rivers (so much so that we stayed an extra night), great location, perfect to just kick back and relax. Hide
