However having smelt gas on our arrival (which was investigated the next morning) it turned out the owner had not ensured sufficient gas for our stay, hence we had no heating, hot water or ability to se the cooker hob for the last day/night of our stay. Just back from a lovely week staying in Seaglass. The house was very spacious and the beds very comfortable! The house had everything we needed and was in a fantastic location, only a 5 minute walk to the beach which was great for our little dog. The walk into Seahouses is about a mile and has a good few pubs, most of which are dog friendly. There Read moreis a co-op and one stop shop for any groceries, post office, chemist, bakery and other shops there so it has everything to hand. Bamburgh Castle is about a 15 minute drive away and is worth a trip. Beadnell is pretty and Newton-by-the-Sea, also Craster and Alnwick. Hide
