Escape to the Cornish coast with your canines in tow at this large, luxurious property in St Ives. With views over Porthmeor Beach from the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can make the most of your time in this beautiful coastal location without even leaving the house. For dog-friendly days out, the beach of Bamaluz is just a mile away, welcoming pups at all times of the year to feel the sand between their paws.

Designed in an upside-down style, the open-plan living place can be found on the first floor, maximising your opportunity to soak in the scenery from the picture frame windows. Three large, sumptuous sofas are positioned around the windows offering ultimate comfort. The kitchen/dining area is chic with a handy breakfast bar and a sleek table seating ten, ideal for all occasions. Downstairs are all five bedrooms, including two with king-size beds, en-suite shower rooms and dual-aspect windows with stunning sea views. At the back of the property is a further king-size bedroom with an en-suite, alongside a tasteful twin room which is ideal for children. Completing the sleeping arrangements is the bunk room which shares the use of the family bathroom. Outside is a suntrap terrace with tables and chairs for al fresco dining, as well as an outdoor shower to wash sandy paws at the end of an exciting day out.

For an active adventure with your hound at your size, plan a walk along a stretch of the South West Coast Path and you’ll be rewarded with wonderful views, scents to sniff and sticks to fetch with routes towards Carbis Bay or Zennor Beach varying in difficulty. Travel further along the coast and you’ll find the iconic location of Land’s End (19 miles) where you’ll be able to spot a whole host of wildlife and soak up the rugged coastal experience whether you sit and sip coffee with a view or head off to explore.

Excellent holiday home for a big party of 10 plus a child and a dog. We stayed 3 nights and it was the ideal home base, the kitchen is all set up for big cooking, the heating, hot water and showers are excellent, the house is warm and very comfortable. The sea view is phenomenal. We all had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and I would highly recoRead moremmend to any other large groups looking to stay in St Ives. Hide
