Perched high on the hillside, overlooking the charming town of Crickhowell, this beautifully finished home offers a perfect retreat for any group gathering accompanied by a couple of canine companions. Nestled within the hamlet of Dardy, you’ll find yourself surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park. With multiple reception rooms, crackling wood burners, a pool table and a private hot tub in the garden, this welcoming abode is ready and waiting at any time of the year.

Step inside to discover a spacious entrance hall with exposed stone walls and a grand cantilever staircase. The ground floor is perfect for socialising in the lounge/diner which boasts a bar, a Smart TV and a large dining table for up to 16 guests. After dinner, guests can unwind in the second lounge area, complete with a Smart TV, a pool table and a wood burner that’s sure to attract heat-seeking pups. The chef amongst you will appreciate the fantastic catering-style kitchen, equipped with everything you need for family feasts. Upstairs, discover seven individually finished bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, offering a variety of sleeping arrangements to accommodate different preferences. Additionally, two master suites on the second floor boast breathtaking views across the mountains, along with luxurious amenities, including lounge areas and en-suite bathrooms with free-standing baths and walk-in showers. Outside, play ball games with Fido on the lawn or relax on the front terrace with a morning coffee, enjoying the picturesque views. A rear terrace provides the perfect setting for summer dining, while a private hot tub offers a tranquil retreat after a day of adventure.

Dog walkers will delight in the plethora of options available nearby, from scenic hillside walks to leisurely strolls along the Brecon Canal towpath. The vibrant market town of Crickhowell, with its independent shops, cafes and restaurants, is conveniently located less than a mile away, offering plenty of interesting sights, sounds and smells for inquisitive hounds to investigate.

This is a great house for a large family gathering or for a group of friends. The kitchen is the old hotel kitchen so there is no seating area but it is functional and reasonably well equipped.

Fabulous long weekend in Wales for a family birthday celebration in a fantastic property. The cottage easily accommodated 16 of us in comfort & style - plenty of space and superb facilities. Location was ideal too, on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons, with plenty of nearby attractions.

Dardy House was beautiful. Well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday . I had great communication with the owner Alex prior our stay on any special requirements I needed . Complimentary bottles of Fizz , freshly cut flowers were all left for our party of 14 which was a lovely welcoming touch ! The house is beautifully decorated and Read morethe bedrooms are amazing especially the 2 in the loft absolutely amazing !! Great lounge with good games area which was fun and a lovely lounge dinner on the others side of house . The kitchen is a catering kitchen which was great ,equipped with absolutely everything you need . Good size hot tub in the garden which was lovely . This is the 4yr weve been away as a group of 14 family & friends and we all said this is the best house weve stayed in ! We had a fabulous stay at Dardy House. The location was superb and the house was perfect for our large family get together. The owner Alex was extremely helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had about the property. He welcome prosseco was a lovely touch. We booked Dardy House to host a party of 16 plus dog for a family get-together this weekend. The house is perfect for a large group, we didn't once feel cramped, the rooms are all generous and there is everything you could need for a weekend away. Absolutely fabulous stay from start to finish. The property is so beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice on just how big and amazing it really is. Alex is very helpful and attentive from the welcome Prosecco, to little notes left around the property and the texts and calls back and forth between us due to storm darragh causing a power cut,Read more alex even sorted getting us wood from her neighbour and updates on the power returning. It did not dampen our weekend away a large group of adults, mainly couples who go away once a year without the kids. Beds are super comfortable, blankets available and we all love a blanket, kitchen had everything we needed and large enough fridge and freezers for all our food and alcohol. Hot tub was great and very clean, games room was our favourite room, the girls could watch a film in the sitting area while the lads played pool/darts etc and we was still all together. Do not have one bad thing to say about our stay and would highly recommend! We normally stay in a new property every time we go away but if we was to return anywhere it would be here! Hide

A fabulous weekend spent with friends at this beautiful house. It has everything and more. Alex left us prosecco on arrival which was very much appreciated and she was available for any problems which may have occurred. The house was beyond our expectations. Absolutely fantastic property. Fabulous views. Really comfortable. Immaculately clean. Very responsive host. I actually cant fault this place. Having been let down by Airbnb with less than 24 hours before 15 people were heading to Wales, Alex was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Wholeheartedly recommend.

What an amazing house, in the most stunning countryside.
