This sweet cottage sits in the heart of the coastal village of Mumbles, within 1 mile of the pier, promenade, and woof-friendly beach. The property sleeps four guests and one furry companion – perfect for couples and small families - and has a cosy lounge with a wood burner and an enclosed courtyard that’s perfect for the pup. Enjoy a doggy day out to Oystermouth Castle, just 0.5 miles away, or explore the breathtaking coast paths and stunning beaches of the Gower Peninsula.
A couple of steps lead to the former fisherman’s cottage. Inside, you’ll find a warm and welcoming abode with stylish interiors and sea views. Enter the cosy lounge, where you can relax on the comfortable seating to watch the Smart TV as Rover stretches out in front of the glowing wood burner. A few steps lead from here to the sociable kitchen/diner, which is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. This is a great spot for your canine buddy to set up camp, with direct access to the outdoor area. Upstairs, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms, a super-king-size room and a cosy double, served by a family bathroom with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. The outside courtyard is fully enclosed for your four-pawed pal, and also has furniture for al fresco dining.
Head into the village to potter around the cute boutiques and galleries, before picking up a delicious, locally made ice cream or a bag of chips to enjoy whilst strolling along the promenade with the pup. Mumbles has a small, sheltered beach that welcomes woofers all year, or further afield you’ll find wide, sandy beaches at Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles) and Oxwich Bay Beach (11 miles) where the hound can burn off steam.
