Give your dog something to go mutts for when staying in this marvellous Dorset cottage, a traditionally appointed property offering extremely generous garden space where your beloved bow-wow is free to run around. Located down a quiet track on the edge of an RSPB nature reserve, the peace and quiet surrounding this marvellous former dairy house offers man and dog alike a truly restful and restorative stay. Classically laid out with four lovely bedrooms and two ambient lounge spaces, this holiday home welcomes up to eight guests and one dog with the chance to make some brand-new memories together.

Exuding farmhouse charm and plenty of original character, this country cottage is a real one-of-a-kind. On the ground floor, two lounge spaces present plenty of room for all guests to relax in the evenings. Both rooms are fitted with working wood burners, so we’re sure you’ll no doubt find your furry friend curled up by the warmth of a fire after a long day of fetching sticks. A handy shower room and an ample kitchen/diner complete the downstairs space. Head on upstairs to find a secondary bathroom and four fantastic bedrooms, each one a wonderful space for catching forty winks after long days of adventure. To complete the property, the large garden with lawn, patio and children’s play area adds to the summer appeal of the place.

Sure to go barking mad when marvelling at Dorset’s magnificent birdlife, step out with man’s best friend at your side and explore the RSPB Arne Nature Reserve on your doorstep (0.5 miles). Locally, lob a tennis ball or two amongst the scenic Hartland Moor Nature Reserve (3 miles) or take a calming waterside walk around The Blue Pool (5 miles). We had a couple of idyllic days, celebrating our fathers 90th birthday. The property was extremely well equipped. We wanted for nothing. The location is very secluded and quiet, perfect for exploring the area - RSPB nature reserve, Corfe Castle, Studland Bay.

Really characterful cottage with a beautiful garden in a peaceful location, in easy walking distance of Arne RSPB reserve. Plenty of room for the 7 of us and one thing we particularly loved was the massive collection of books. In each room we'd come across another collection and we could easily spend another week there studying the book collection!Read more It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need to really enjoy our week there, we didn't want to leave and definitely want to return.
