We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous garden. If you are coming with babies we were told there would be a travel cot by holiday cottages staff when I booked but this was not the case and I was told we would have to pay extra. I also asked for a high chair. There was one there but it was caked in filth Read moreand when I asked it turned out it was broken. Eventually we were given a clean high chair but only in time for our final breakfast which made meals less enjoyable with a baby covering me in food on my lap. A few things need replacing, the sofa is ripped, mugs are chipped, one chair is falling appart. It feels a bit like its not being that well checked as the dishwasher had not been emptied on arrival and there was a cracked mug with a note still on it from a previous guest. Still a great stay! A lovely spacious and very clean property. Very close to so many areas/towns of interest and very private for those requiring a quieter time. Plenty of parking available on site. Whilst the garden is not enclosed there are plenty of areas to walk with or without a dog.

Wonderful cottage in beautiful "hideaway" location. Still close enough for days out to Aldeburgh Southwold Minsmere. Layout and design of the accommodation just perfect!! Some intriguing artworks and interesting textiles scattered around. Especially loved the hidden turquoise bedroom. Garden is delightful with a sense of romantic wildness. FruitRead more trees Hollyhocks Sweet Peas Walnuts Redcurrants. Great Table Tennis addition outside. Plenty of board games left for evenings indoors. Summer visit and super bright and lightness throughout. Understand heating underfloor for frostier visits. Also rural village pub within easy walking distance. A BIG thank you to the owners who we met and who made us feel most welcome!! Hide

We absolutely loved staying at Millers Cottage! It was well kept, clean and nicely presented with lots of character. It suited our family of 7 well, giving us plenty of room. Our children especially loved the secret room behind the bookcase! We enjoyed its quiet, peaceful and private location with easy parking and a spacious garden. A nice touch weRead morere the pots of flowers around the property, which added to its charm. A 10 minute drive to the nearest shop, with lovely towns and beaches all near enough to drive to. Would recommend staying here if you like a quiet, relaxed break. Would happily visit again! Hide

Positives - lovely location & large 2 bedroom bungalow with good parking. Lovely pub in Rendham - the White Horse & Juniper Barn Cafe within a short walk. There isn't a local shop anymore contrary to the description on the website. The challenges - the kitchen wasn't well equipped or as clean as we would expect. There weren't instruction manuals eRead moreasily to hand for key equipment like the cooker & heating. The general air of the cottage was a bit neglected & dusty rather than just "quirkily distressed". There wasn't a visitors book so nowhere to share thoughts on best local places with other guests. Overall for the price we didn't feel it was good value for money or rated 4 stars. We stay in UK cottages regularly & wouldn't come back to this one which is a shame as it could be stunning with a little more thought and care. Hide
