Get away from it all in this countryside bolthole near the village of Umberleigh. Sleeping four guests and one furry friend, the property is ideal for couples and families who enjoy an outdoor lifestyle, with woodland trails nearby and easy access to Exmoor National Park and the North Devon coastline (both within 20 miles). In the evenings, challenge fellow guests to a game of pool or take a relaxing dip on the shared swimming pool.

The rural lodge sits amongst a complex of similar holiday homes. The property is decorated in a contemporary style and has a fun, vibrant colour scheme. On the lower floor you’ll find a sociable and well-appointed kitchen/diner with everything needed for a self-catering break, as well as ample space for the dog bed. The two bedrooms, a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, and a cosy twin, served by the family bathroom, complete this floor. Upstairs, discover a bright living area with glorious countryside views. Spend time here, stretched out on the corner sofa watching the TV/DVD or enjoying a game of pool or table tennis. From here, doors open onto a scenic balcony with outdoor furniture. Guests also have access to a shared, outdoor swimming pool in summer months.

The market town of South Molton is 12.5 miles away and has a delightful range of paw-friendly eateries. The town also hosts regular markets to potter around with the pup. The town sits on the edge of Exmoor National Park, and you’ll find stunning walking routes through the surrounding countryside. For a day at the seaside, journey to Westward Ho! (19.5 miles). Eat fish and chips and locally made ice cream on the promenade, followed by a bracing walk along the cliffs or a jaunt along the beach, which has a large, paw-friendly section all year.

A great sized cottage for family of 4 and small pooch, with thoughtful touches like mini pool table, games and Wii. Fabulous balcony view to enjoy with a morning coffee. A very pleasant and relaxing short stay.
