The town sits on the edge of Exmoor National Park, and you’ll find stunning walking routes through the surrounding countryside. For a day at the seaside, journey to Westward Ho! (19.5 miles). Eat fish and chips and locally made ice cream on the promenade, followed by a bracing walk along the cliffs or a jaunt along the beach, which has a large, paw-friendly section all year.
