I really wanted this cottage to be every thing that was advertised but its not as you enter the grounds there is a building in a state of construction building materials and buildings rubble around the area there is also another wooden building fenced off with an old digger thats not moved for years. Once past that the holiday cottages look nice fiRead morerst impressions were good but the decking furniture is broken in places cushions that were rotten going inside kitchen living room was good everything you need for your stay. some of the windows had condensation in them ruining your view need replacing bedroom one downstairs was small but ok apart from the mattress that had sunk in the middle 2nd bedroom with shower and toilet does not have any privacy between the bedroom and the toilet again mattress sunk in the middle. Going upstairs first impressions again very nice big main bedroom unfortunately again some windows have condensation in them ruining your view mattress sunk in the middle.the second bathroom was ok shower over the bath not the best setup but acceptable the last bedroom again small but ok apart from the mattress again sunk in the middle and also in every door in the property the door catches are broken attention to detail is very lacking in none existent in this property I cannot recommend this property and I am very disappointed in holiday cottages rating of this property Hide

Nicely presented cottage - rooms were adequate and the master bedroom was a good size. Great value for money, good location equal distance to get to Padstow or Newquay although Mawgan Porth beach is off the scale for it's beauty and sea. We had a great holiday - Thanks.

Excellent cottage in a quiet area. Very comfy, including the beds & settees for six adults (sons & girlfriends). Small problem with the shower not draining was fixed by the owner. You need to be use to driving down narrow Cornish lanes to get to the cottage which we are, from previous stays in the area. The beach & Merrymoor Inn are within walking Read moredistance through the wood, public footpath (but not loaded down with lots of beach gear/body boards etc). We rate Mawgan Porth as one of the best beaches, closely followed by Treyarnon. Hide

Would definitely book again, very clean and comfortable, fishing was great and watching the horses climbing the hill through the sky light while showering in the morning was a real delight and all in a beautiful area.

The house was extremely good value for money, a beautiful space for 7/8 people for a long weekend away with family and friends. It was clean and tidy, and a great location close to the beaches. We had an amazing time, loved the sofa and kitchen was stocked well, plus the few welcome treats were lovely.

Fantastic modern accommodation and would highly recommend. Great location for walking to the beach (20 mins) and the fishing pools are great too and just a one minute walk away.

Such a well-equipped and beautifully presented house, which we had a brilliant week in this half term. It very much seems that the house is very new and we felt very lucky to stay in it! Trevor was so welcoming and the house had everything we needed, along with being in a brilliant location - it was a lovely touch arriving to scones, cream, jam andRead more milk too! Would recommend without hesitation - we will definitely be back! Hide

My family stayed here over New Year. The accommodation was beautifully clean and cosy with flowers on the table and some champagne in the fridge as well as some chocolates for us on arrival. Lovely big living space for all the family to come together for meals and games evenings.
