Enjoy a coastal escape in the English Riviera at this stylish apartment overlooking Brixham’s harbour. The property sleeps four guests and one pup and is ideal for both families and couples, with a sociable, open-plan layout for spending quality time together. Nearby doggy days out include Dartmouth Steam Railway and Greenway National Trust (both within 5 miles).

A flight of stairs leads to the coastal apartment. Inside, you’ll find a homely abode with comfortable furniture and fabulous sea views. The spacious lounge/diner has hard floors, making it ideal for your sandy-pawed chum, as well as a cosy wood burner for them to doze beside after a long walk. Unwind here, catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV or sharing memorable mealtimes at the dining table. Also on this floor is a handy utility room, with space for a dog bed, and the family bathroom. Completing this level is a separate kitchen with everything needed for a self-catering break. The two elegant bedrooms are upstairs, a king-size room and a welcoming double. There is no outside space, however, with the harbour on your doorstep and two woof-welcoming beaches within 1 mile, you won’t be short of options when it comes to morning walkies.

Head into the town centre to potter around the picturesque harbour and browse the cute shops and boutiques. After some retail therapy, enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many paw-friendly eateries. From the harbour, you and your salty seadog can join a boat trip to explore the stunning coastline from the water, or board the ferry to spend the day in nearby Torquay or Paignton. Several of Brixham’s beaches welcome four-pawed visitors all year, including Fishcombe Cove and Shoalstone Beach (both 1 mile).

We loved this apartment, the comfortable beds best we have ever had in a holiday cottage, the views from lounge and bedroom were mesmerizing, the location was so central and less than 5 minute walk to harbour and shops. We parked out car very close and hardly used it as so many lovely walks from the property, lots of choice of cafes, pubs and restaRead moreurants.
