This luxurious escape sits amongst the beautiful Kent countryside, just 5 miles from the cathedral city of Canterbury. The property sleeps 20 guests and two furry friends, forming the perfect base for gatherings of friends or family. You’ll have a choice of social spaces including a fantastic cinema room, the enclosed garden has ample space for pooches to play, while on-site entertainment for humans includes a gym and swimming pool.

This vast country retreat is set on a working farm and is split between the main house and two self-contained apartments. Stunning original aspects bring character to each area, along with statement furniture and bespoke design elements. Enter the main house into the spacious hallway, where you can store all your dog-walking gear, before moving through to the grand dining room. This is the perfect place to host memorable dinner parties and special occasions, with delightful views and a wood burner to create a cosy atmosphere. The spectacular kitchen features a wonderful, vaulted ceiling and has a comfortable seating area overlooking the garden. Just off the kitchen you’ll find the warm and inviting lounge, where you can unwind on the plump sofas to watch the Smart TV, while the hounds snooze in front of the wood burner. Completing the ground floor is a fabulous cinema room as well as a utility room. Up on the first floor, discover three exceptional bedrooms, all with quirky features – one super-king-size and two king-size, all with en-suite facilities and Smart TVs. On the second floor, find two wonderful double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. Across the driveaway, head to the charming lodge with two self-contained apartments where you’ll find a king-size and a double bedroom, one with an en-suite shower room, the other served by a chic bathroom. Both apartments have a kitchen and lounge area. Outside, the huge, enclosed garden has so much to offer, including an outdoor swimming pool (April – September) with a pool house with outdoor shower, games facilities, pool table and a bar. Get the heart pumping with a visit to the on-site gym or tennis court, or unwind in one of the two hot tubs. Let little ones run wild in the play area, while the adults prepare an al fresco dinner on the all-weather terrace using the BBQ.

The vibrant city of Canterbury (7 miles) has a fantastic array of independent shops and eateries. Enjoy walkies around its historic streets to visit the three UNESCO sites within the city, including Canterbury Cathedral. Other popular dog walks from the city include the picturesque River Stour trail and the traffic-free Crab and Winkle Way. Heading to the coast, you’ll soon reach East Cliff and Warren Country Park (15 miles).

A very happy stay for a Birthday celebration and it being an old house there were some areas which needed repair or more attention . Overall we were very happy and can only thank the owner for the use of his property .

A wonderful property enjoyed by 13 persons to celebrate a major birthday over 3 nights. Outstanding helpful, responsive and obliging support from the owner and the house manager. Well equipped kitchen; good dining areas inside and out; possibility to enjoy activities of all kinds given the extensive facilities of the property. Great to have additioRead morenal accommodation in adjacent flats. A special treat was the hire of an excellent chef Silvestre Inacio http://www.thecheftouch.co.uk. The only warning is that the 'Jack & Jill' WC on the top floor is a misnomer. It is an ensuite in a very small room with low ceilings that could be used by those staying in the adjacent room. Fantastic property! I have never rented somewhere before with so many entertainment options! The garden is stunning with its adventure playground, especially loved by our little ones, and truly fabulous swimming pool which is in a beautifully enclosed area. The tennis and fitness room are just next to it looking over to the vineyards and sheep. AftRead moreer that exercise the two hot tubs are great to relax before dinner. Wow!! What a beautiful place. I really do recommend staying at this gorgeous location!! Weve just returned from the most amazing weekend (as a group of 19). The standards are really high, each room was super clean and beds are comfy! The house had all the equipment we needed and the facilities really were amazing. The pool was heated and the hot Read moretubs a very good temperature too. There was enough space for everyone and we had glorious weather which meant we enjoyed the lovely garden and played lots of fun games too. I honestly dont think the photos even capture quite how lovely this property is. It managed to beat every expectation and Id absolutely recommend. Hide

An absolutely beautiful house with fantastic facilities for all guests to enjoy themselves. We rented this property out for a long weekend and had an amazing time and would highly reocmmend this place.

Both the main house and the cottages were well equipped and all the outdoor facilities were well suited for an extended family get away location. The outdoor swimming pool was heated and enjoyed by the family but could have done with a toilet and changing facilities in the pool house to avoid trips back through the garden to the main house. DuringRead more our stay we hired a private Chef Samual McClukin who provided a three course meal for all the family and would highly recommend.
