Venture into the Bodmin Moor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to be spoiled for choice with historic landmarks and Tors to sniff out – the closest are Showery Tor, Brown Willy Bronn Wennili and the Leskernick Stone Circle (all within 19 miles). Pack your beach towels and head to the North Cornwall coast where you can learn about the witchcraft and magic of Boscastle (6 miles) or the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel (7.5 miles). You could also hike along the coastal path to find the dramatic Rock Valley and secluded Bossiney Cove (7 miles).
