Admire the sea views from the garden of this traditional former fisherman’s cottage, built from local whinstone in around 1906. Spend quality time with up to seven other guests and two canine companions in the cosy living spaces with white-washed wooden beamed ceilings, an open fire and homely, neutral-toned decor. Enjoy the cliff-top walking trails, quaint seaside villages and secluded coves of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As you enter this three-storey semi-detached cottage, move through the hallway into the lounge with a wide window, an eye-catching exposed stone fireplace with an open fire, and a Smart TV. Continue into the kitchen/diner with flagged-stone flooring, a farmhouse-style ‘L’-shaped fitted kitchen unit and a dining table in the centre of the room. There is also a walk-in larder-style cupboard and a washer/dryer. On the first floor, you’ll find a family bathroom, a king-size bedroom with an additional sofa bed plus a twin room with harbour views. The second floor contains a double bedroom with sea views, a single room, and a family shower room. To the front of the property is an enclosed garden which overlooks the harbour, with furniture and a patio.

Continue along the Muckle Carr peninsula (0.5 miles) or follow the Northumberland Coast Path to Cullernose Scenic Point (1 mile). Beyond here, you’ll find Hindson Cove, Church Cave and the historic Howick Mesolithic House (all within 2.5 miles). Head in the opposite direction, north along the coast, to reach Dunstanburgh Castle and Queen Margaret’s Cove (1 mile).
