This welcoming, semi-detached property is centrally located in the village of Whickham, with walking and cycling routes from the doorstep, and within walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants, and a dog-friendly park. The scenic Derwent Walk Country Park is just a short drive away (1.5 miles) with walking and cycling routes along the riverside. Visit Gibside Estate for the tranquil 4.5-mile walk, its scenic gardens, historical structures and friendly cafe, or the famous Angel of the North (5.5 miles). Head to Newcastle City Centre (4.5 miles) to stroll along the Quayside, visit the Discovery Museum and the Baltic Centre for contemporary art, or enjoy a night out with live music venues and a fantastic range of restaurants. Head to Tynemouth’s Longsands Beach (14.5 miles) and a drive up the coast into Northumberland.

Lovely clean and modern property . Owner went above and beyond and had everything at hand . Parking was great and had enough space for 2 cars. Towels toilet paper cleaning products coffee and biscuits were also there as well as 2 pints of fresh milk in the fridge which was great after a long journey. Very central location and will definitely stay Read moreagain . Really enjoyed our stay . Hide
