Delighted dogs can play happily in the enclosed garden of this gorgeous seaside getaway. Ideal for friends or families, it’s beautifully decorated and offers plenty of space for humans and pups to spread out, relax and recharge after days on the beach or exploring the eateries of foodie Padstow.
This spacious terraced house has an appealing contemporary/country style and is impeccable throughout. Look out for historic features, which you’ll spot here and there among the many modern amenities. Hide the canine kit in the utility room, then explore the ground floor, where the living areas flow seamlessly from one to the other. First, the lounge, with a huge bay window, timber floor and a wood burner. Art on the walls, comfortable seating and a Smart TV make this an enticing space to while away a sociable evening. The kitchen/diner is at the heart of the space, leading out to the sunroom, perfect for cosying up with a good book, and your hounds at your feet. There’s also a small shower room on the ground floor, and a second shower room on the first floor, where you’ll also find the elegant bedrooms. Through French doors in the sunroom, you can access the tiered garden, with two sets of furniture so you can choose where to dine as your dogs enjoy the fresh air.
Explore the bustling streets of Padstow, with its shops, galleries and excellent eateries – including TV chef Rick Stein’s St Petroc’s Bistro, where your four-pawed chums are welcome in the garden or bar. For enticing, dog-friendly beaches try Hawkers Cove and the adjoining Harbour Cove, just along the coast path from the centre of town. And within 5.5 miles are the ‘seven bays for seven days’, of which only Trevone Bay has daytime dog restrictions in the summer months.
