Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, this charming cottage is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends looking for a dog-friendly Cornish hideaway. During the day, sit back and relax on Looe Beach, or go for a walk along the beautiful harbour with your pups. Cottage is lovely and well located but let down by the basics, such as not supplying enough household items such as soap, washing up liquid etc. so had to buy these ourselves. Additionally there is no shade on the front which made it difficult to sit outside and enjoy the space during the recent heatwave we had. We also experienced a plumbing blockRead moreage in the back garden which meant that space was full of sewageto the owners credit they called a plumber and resolved this ASAP but it did mean that this space was unusable for the holiday. A lovely cottage near the centre of Looe. Great base for exploring! Well decorated and super cosy and great views out of the bedroom over the lake. The hill up to the property is not for the faint hearted. Definitely worth booking the luggage shuttle service.

Great holiday accommodation in a great location. Steep walk down steps and a narrow road straight into Looe where there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways for dinner. Don't try and drive to the property. Park in the Millpool Car Park and get Pete (Looe Luggage Transfer on Facebook) to move your bags with his quad bike and trailer.

Really nice cottage/house. Bigger than it looks in the photos, well decorated and superb location, especially if you don't need to park/drive there. No washing machine, dryer or freezer and little in the way of pleasant outdoor space but otherwise we highly recommend the cottage.

If you are driving to this property, please do not make the same mistake as me, it will taint your experience. Do not attempt to drive your car to the property (particularly any car larger than a corsa, fiesta, micra etc) Book Pete in advance he is a super friendly chap who provides an excellent service. He will deliver your luggage to the door forRead more only 8 (subject to change) You can find him on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/1AvZjb6zrA/?mibextid=wwXIfr (+447810644449). My advice to you, is park at the Millpond carpark as suggested by the host and transport your belongings via Pete. If you attempt to drive your vehicle to the property, expect to scratch both sides badly. Otherwise, the cottage is perfect, very cosy, reasonably equipped (I managed to make a full Christmas Dinner). The walk into Looe takes about 10mins (max) down hill. I guess if you struggle with steep inclines, going back to the cottage might be a challenge. Looe is a lovely place with a wonderful beach, great walking routes, friendly people and amazing pasties (try Sarahs pasties). I will return as its a perfect getaway. Hide

A lot of thought has gone into the presentation of this Victorian terraced house - decor in particular is perfect for relaxing on holiday. Views of the estuary are exceptional and being a little walk from the town means that it is also very quiet. Access is not for the faint hearted but that is the price for these views and solitude. The neighboursRead more are very friendly and helpful. Looe is very buzzing and atmospheric, locals are also very friendly, a nice feel. It's a great contrast between the house and the busy town.
