Beautiful location, was surprised by how much there was to do in the local area. We were there 5 nights had something to do every day: Waterfalls, steam train, walking Hafod Estate, Aberystwyth, butterfly centre. Oh and the chocolate shop was lovely. Was superb we had a great time. The sunsets we got from there were spectacular. Didn't want to leave. Food at nearby hotel/restaurant was wonderful and Devil's Bridge waterfalls were amazing.

Absolutely perfect little get away! Was booked as a surprise for my partners birthday and he was thrilled with it! So convenient that it is dog friendly as we didnt have to worry about getting care for her and could take her with us. The closed fenced garden made this even more enjoyable allowing her to play outside with us knowing she was safe andRead more having fun. Along side that the location is great as there was plenty of walking opportunities for us to take her on. We enjoyed the location too as it was a beautiful view and extremely peaceful! Nothing beats the first coffee of the morning sitting out watching the sheep over the hills and listening to the birds sing. The cabin itself was in extraordinary condition and super clean! And we did not want to leave the comfort of the bed when going home! The owners are extremely helpful, on arrival we didnt have hot water to shower (not the owners fault as it was gas and there is no way to tell when it will run out) on discovering this we contacted the owner and within 10minutes they had changed the gas for us and resolved the issue. Overall this holiday was perfect and would highly recommend and we will be looking to return in the future! Hide

This is a very compact timber lodge, one of 3 on the site. There is a fenced patio and small grass area ideal for a smallish dog. Although compact, it has everything you need for a few days. The bedding was lovely, nice thick duvet, pillows and blankets, and the shower excellent, roomy and powerful. The view is lovely looking over the hills, and wRead moreatching the sheep and the clouds was a good change from the TV at home. Overall it was good value, ideal for a short break and very close the the Devils Bridge Waterfalls attraction. We would recommend eating at YFfarmers, brilliant food but very narrow roads to get there. Hide

Couldnt recommend enough! I stayed alone with my dog for three nights, and can honestly say I left feeling so happy, relaxed and excited to return again one day. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, gorgeous views, a real feeling of privacy and had absolutely everything you would need for a self catering stay. It was spacious, extremely clean and Read morewell presented. The secure garden was beautiful and a good size for my large dog (who loved spending time watching the sheep in the field opposite) The bed was SO comfortable, the bathroom was lovely and modern, the kitchen area was cleverly laid out and packed with everything you could possibly need. I spent a lot of time out exploring the long list of nearby places (fantastic location) but also found myself equally as excited to return to the cabin and relax on the sofa and cook myself an evening meal in such a cosy setting. Lynne has a real gem of a place on her hands, and should be praised for the wonderful setting and experience she has created. I cant wait to return. Thank you so much! Hide

What a lovely little gem, a place to enjoy the peace and quiet and be able to wander around for some great walks. The cabin is kitted out beautifully, my only suggestion would be to add a microwave. We loved the cabin, the vista was perfect, infact the big windows to the rear became our sheep wide screen TV. Couldnt fault the cabin, was a perfect size for the two of us and our two little pouches. Would recommend this cabin for a super get away from it all location.
