Plan a getaway with your trio of top dogs at this delightful Wexford hideaway. Sitting within pretty gardens just 2 miles from Rosslare Strand, this one-bedroomed bolthole is a great base from which to explore the coast and countryside.

Together-time is the focus of your holiday here – nestled within the owner’s pretty gardens, this restful retreat is perfectly private, comfortable and convenient. Step inside and the open-plan living space really is a room for all purposes; dark wooden beams and light décor set the scene for home-style relaxation, with a TV, contemporary kitchen area and breakfast bar for informal dining. Most important of all, the dogs can stay close at all times – there’s lots of floor space for them to stretch out on. Once the pets are settled in their beds, your own sanctuary-like room has twin beds and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the shared garden is fully enclosed and has a lawn, mature planting, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Lockable storage for bikes is also available.

Surrounded by Wexford farmland, this perfect couples’ escape is 2 miles from the harbour town of Rosslare, while the separate village of Rosslare Strand is famed for its vast beach and reputed to be the sunniest spot in Ireland. Just 8 miles north, the bustling town of Wexford is a place to shop, dine and see the famous National Opera House. For walks in well-tended grounds, visit Johnstown Castle (6.5 miles) – dogs are welcome in the gardens, visitor centre, café and shop.

We had a really nice week and the annexe was very comfortable and well equipped. It was in a good location and was good value for money. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Spent a week in Selskar cottage recently.. Best thing about it was the location.. great and near to a lot of attractions and villages and Wexford town 15 minutes away..The accommodation was ok,needs a little bit of improvement like more comfortable sofa,up to date TV and more TV channels other than Irish ones..Also a bigger trash bin is badly needeRead mored..the tiny one there is not fit for purpose..these changes would go a long way into making the stay more luxurious and less "cheap and cheerful" so to speak... Irene the owner is very nice and is helpful... Hide
