For a charming getaway with your canine companions, this bright and spacious property is sure to set tails wagging with modern interiors, a blissful balcony and a homely feel. What’s more, the local village of Inniskeen (less than 2 miles away), ensures you’ve got easy access to an array of walks with riverside strolls beside the River Fane, and a trail dedicated to the famous local poet of Patrick Kavanagh and pretty areas which inspired his writings.

The living room is light and contemporary with pops of colour from the leather armchairs and sofa adding personality to the simply decorated space. In addition, a dining table seating four is located beside the window where you can gather together for meals at all times of the day. Next door, the kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to fix up a feast with plenty of storage for locally purchased produce. The first of the two bedrooms is conveniently located on the ground floor and is furnished with a pretty wooden double bed alongside the family shower room. Upstairs, the second of the double bedrooms enjoys vaulted ceilings and wooden furniture, as well as great views from the private balcony. When the sun is shining, humans and hounds are welcome to use the shared courtyard area, furnished with a table and chairs to create an idyllic spot for your morning coffee.

Immerse yourself in the local nature with a visit to the Ring of Gullion AONB, just 15 miles away, and you’ll find fascinating history spots such as Moyry Castle and the Killevy Old Churches, as well as an array of walkies where humans and hounds are sure to have a ball. For pups who love to feel the sand on their paws, Templetown Beach (22 miles) welcomes our four-legged friends all year round on the sheltered shore with a seasonal lifeguard service.
