Occupying a rural location near the coastal village of Ballyvaughan, this property is a tail-wagging 450 metres from Bishop’s Quarter beach, perfect for morning walks with your canine companion. Inside, this two-storey cottage exudes a warm and cosy vibe that will make you feel instantly at home. Featuring an assortment of comfortable seating, an open fire and far-reaching country views, the lounge invites relaxation after adventurous days. The country-style kitchen has colourful tiles, cream cabinets, all the essential appliances and plenty of space for your dog’s bowls. After rustling up meals for the pack, settle around the dining table, patio door open so your pup can frolic in the garden. Three tastefully appointed bedrooms invite a restful night’s sleep. Take your pick from a ground-floor twin, and a twin and double bedroom on the first floor. A ground-floor bathroom and first-floor en suite take care of all practicalities. Outside, the garden is a delight, with superb views and furniture for al fresco feasts.

Located on the northern tip of County Clare with superb views over Galway Bay, Ballyvaughan (1.5 miles) is a charming heritage town that’s perfectly placed for exploring the region. Sample freshly caught seafood, enjoy a Guinness in a local pub, or set off to explore a host of walking routes and ancient sites. Admire dramatic limestone scenery at Black Head Lighthouse (7.5 miles), wander round the ruins of Gleninagh Castle (4.5 miles), visit the magnificent Cliffs of Moher (19 miles) and explore the karst landscape of The Burren.

A very comfortable and well located cottage just a short walk from the beach and with lovely views.

We found that the cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The cottage fittings and equipment were as described in the information when we made the booking. The owner was very friendly and helpful and called round to make sure that everything was satisfactory.
